IGF-1 LR3 1mg (Long R3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) is an 83-amino-acid analog of human IGF-1 in which arginine replaces glutamic acid at position 3 and a 13-residue extension is added at the N-terminus. These modifications reduce binding affinity for IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs) while preserving recognition of the type 1 IGF receptor (IGF-1R). In research models, the peptide is studied as a ligand for IGF-1R signaling and as a tool for examining receptor-mediated tyrosine kinase activation and downstream pathway engagement in vitro.
